The LPS Makers spend two meetings disassembling and opening up an old laptop to see what components it had inside. They researched the parts by pictures and model numbers to find its functionality.
My makerspace offers students a place to explore, learn and innovate. Interaction among our student inventors fosters collaborative learning, encourages team building and offers peer support. Because the makerspace is cross-disciplinary, students will benefit in many subject areas of their regular curriculum.

Makers and Makey Makey
This meeting we discovered and played with Makey Makey. My makers were pretty quick to figure out how to connect the Makey Makey and got started. They experimented with various items in the media center including play dough, and pencils ..... Take a look ....

Unboxing LittleBits
